Computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)

Computerised Maintenance Management Software (CMMS)

Maintenance4000 is a comprehensive CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) which provides users with a streamlined approach to any organisation’s business activities in relation to the raising of work order schedules, reducing maintenance costs and improving the way stores are managed.

Functionally rich yet easy-to-use, Maintenance4000 enables organisations to analyse equipment downtime and the frequency of breakdowns, and to subsequently identify suitable maintenance policies. It offers the functionality to vastly improve the management of both planned and unforeseen maintenance.

The system is fully configurable, holds a full maintenance history and includes a facility designed to control and monitor parts, stock and cost information. It also incorporates an employee information calendar which highlights the availability, proximity to the job and the daily/hourly charges associated with each operative.  Maintenance4000’s unique ‘qualifications’ tab allows each worker to be associated with particular trades or skills, thus ensuring that you always choose the right person for the job.

Features and Benefits

  • Manages parts, stock and records all stock movements and re-ordering criteria, generating purchasing instructions.
  • Holds maintenance history, costs, bill of materials, current work orders, meter readings and maintenance schedules.
  • Calendar displays maintenance history and scheduled works, overdue work orders, parts used/required, quantities, dates, meter readings and labour costs.
  • Creation of Standard Jobs provides a library of regular maintenance tasks.
  • Information such as standard job time, downtime, defects, contract details, maintenance types, trades and stock required can be stored against Standard Jobs.
  • Generates Work Orders from both the maintenance plan and from user requests (for reactive maintenance).
  • Utilises a single, centralised database to manage and track the transfer of items between locations and business units.
  • Accommodates both standard and user-definable reports for flexible and powerful information management.

Reporting and Analysis

The Maintenance4000 module includes a powerful, highly flexible reporting facility and, with its user-friendly interface, is both familiar and easy to navigate, providing access to all maintenance. The system is both flexible and powerful, providing a range of standard and bespoke reporting options.

Work Orders

All maintenance requirements are managed through a single, centralised inventory register which is equipped with all that is necessary to speedily produce comprehensive work orders.

Work orders and related information, such as details regarding labour, tools and parts required, are displayed as colour-coded records, with each colour representing current, completed or overdue jobs.

Complete with a Work Order Wizard, Maintenance4000 provides step-by-step guidance in the creation of new work orders, using pick-lists, text recognition and drop-down menus, and saving users both time and effort by eliminating the need to manually design the new order.

Work orders can be closed, but not deleted, so as to maintain a full audit trail.
