Real Asset Management Corporate OverviewReal Asset Management (RAM) is a leading provider of fixed asset management and logistics software and services. The company was established in 1981 as Britannia Software Plc to supply fixed asset management software solutions to a range of commercial and public sector organisations. Since then, RAM’s products have been implemented by more than 3,000 public and private sector organisations in over 80 countries. Commercial customers range from SMEs to FTSE100 companies. RAM is recognised as one of the leading suppliers to the UK public sector where customers include Central Government (150 implementations), NHS Trusts (140), Educational Establishments (90) and Local Authorities (45). It also provides property management software to more than 600 MoD sites worldwide. In 2001 Britannia Software acquired Real Logistics Ltd and in October 2003, the Britannia Software and Real Logistics businesses were merged and rebranded as Real Asset Management to reflect the company’s growing international business. In 2004 RAM launched a US subsidiary, Real Asset Management International (RAMI) to capitalise on the success to date and the potential growth opportunities within this market. RAM is based in Orpington, Kent where it employs over 50 staff. It makes significant investments in research and development so that products are at the forefront of technology and efficiency advances.
