The 16th Annual AoC Conference took place on the 3rd and 4th of June and we sent along Kathryn Emerson and Richard Exley to represent us.
Each year the annual College Finance Conference and Exhibition provides professional development opportunities and financial management advice for colleges and it is always a great place for us to catch up with existing clients and maybe meet a few new ones.
Our fixed asset management and tracking software is already deployed in over 200 educational establishments so these events are a great opportunity for us to talk about the product and any industry-related obstacles our clients might be facing.
Attendees this year included College Accountants, Finance Managers and Directors who we welcomed to our stand throughout the two days. We found that one question in particular kept cropping up quite a lot on the day; this was the question of integration. The main questions around this were related to clients who wanted to change their finance system but were worried about the integration issues this may cause. At RAM we are pleased to say that this isn’t an issue for nearly all finance packages as we integrate seamlessly with nearly every package on the market. This is also something that we will dedicate a blog to soon, so watch this space.
On that note, a further talking point of the Conference was our partnership with Symmetry and it's existing finance package, bluQube. At RAM we have recently integrated seamlessly with bluQube and are looking forward to rolling this integration out to our existing customer base. Many people approached us to discuss the partnership and to explore any integration possibilities that will come as a result.
All-in-all it was a great conference and we met some great people. Will we see you there next year?
