Katy O’Neil is a Customer Services Consultant who has recently joined us at RAM. Having graduated from university last year with a degree in Chemistry, we catch up with Katy to find out a bit more and exactly why she loves her job.

3. What was it that attracted you to the position at RAM?
I enjoy a challenge and knew this position would push me to learn something completely new.
4. What does your role as Customer Services Consultant involve?
My main role is to provide support to clients who are experiencing technical issues or have questions regarding the functionality of the software. In addition to this, I also assist in the QA process for the latest versions of the software.
5. What is your favourite colour?
I love all things purple, including everything from my bedroom decor to the colour of my laptop!
6. iPhone or Android?
I have only ever had an iPhone and find them really user friendly. I haven’t used an Android but don’t think I will be tempted over to the other side any time soon.
7. What is your favourite thing about working for RAM?
Two things! The people here are great which makes working life at RAM most enjoyable. Everybody has been so welcoming and friendly and always there to help if needed. I also love the customer interaction side of my role and assisting clients with their queries – the sense of achievement when a case is closed is particularly satisfying.
8. Where is your next holiday destination?
I will be going to Turkey later in the year for some sun and relaxation. Am looking forward to a chilled out week with a good book in one hand and a cocktail in the other!

Emma Watson. Purely because I think she is a good actress and get the impression that she works hard. As a hard working and conscientious person myself, I feel she would portray my character well!
