SFHA brings together the key finance decision makers across housing associations in Scotland and provides them with all the relevant information about the future of housing finance. The main aim is to generate new ideas, develop best practice and understand what 2014 will bring for the housing sector.
The main themes discussed at the conference were based around the subject of housing sector finance, FRS 102, component accounting and SORP. Managing the transition from the existing SORP regulations towards the inclusion of the FRS 102 was never going to come without its challenges, but as we have been reassuring our clients throughout the last few months, the process does not need to be a daunting one.
Overall it was another great opportunity for us to hear what our customers and prospects are saying about the sector and its challenges, and offer support and guidance to anyone facing challenges with FRS 102.
See you again next year?
