On the 1st May we will be heading up to the city of roundabouts, Milton Keynes, to attend this year’s EBME seminar.
The EBME seminar is an annual event that brings together healthcare professionals who are responsible for the management of medical equipment. Among these will be those that are in charge of asset and maintenance management within the NHS and here at RAM we want to help make their job easier!
We know that the role of the fixed asset manager is changing. With continued pressure on capital budgets, growing numbers of organisations are exploring not only new financing models but new ways of procuring and maintaining fixed assets – including the use of third parties. So where does this leave an asset management department that has delivered real benefits over the past few years in extending asset life without compromising performance or operational compliance?
It is those asset managers, especially within the NHS, that can leverage comprehensive asset intelligence and proactively demonstrate quantifiable business advantage – from maximising fixed asset value to facilitating cost effective innovation – that will be best placed to manage the rapid change in asset procurement practices over the next decade.
And with new regulations like ISO 55000 set to take hold, now is as good a time as any to start having conversations about effective maintenance management and software to manage the process.
So if you are attending EBME then why not come over to stand C8 and have a chat with one of the team!
