Bournemouth Transport Ltd, the main provider of public transport to Bournemouth and its surrounding areas, has selected Sage Asset 1000, delivered via one of Sage's business partners, K3FDS. The solution will help Bournemouth Transport Ltd to manage its £12 million asset base which includes over 135 public service vehicles.

It integrates with the Sage ERP 1000 financial ledgers to create assets from purchase invoices and post transaction journals.
Bournemouth Transport Ltd required a system that could accommodate forecasting up to 5 years at any one time, a process historically achieved through running multiple reports alongside one another. The company also required a system with the functionality to integrate seamlessly with its current Sage ERP 1000 solution.

Furthermore, another huge benefit for us is that the period-end process is very simple and depreciation can be recalculated as many times as required, before posting final figures into our Accounting system. This allows us to make checks on individual and multiple assets."
